Title: Anomalous Reaction – Diffusion equations

Abstract: Velocity variations in dispersive systems over several orders of magnitude can be parsimoniously captured through anomalous random walk models where the notion of time is randomised. However, in order to capture reaction phenomena that happen in real time, special care needs to be taken. I’ll give a sightseeing tour from the early continuous time random walk limits all the way to a coupled mobile-immobile reaction-dispersion system.
