The UA GeoAPT laboratory has launched today its new website: http://uageoapt.ua.edu
The UA GeoAPT laboratory seeks to develop the atom probe tomography (APT) technique for improving the geochemical characterization of minerals, within a multidisciplinary research framework.
Currently, the UA GeoAPT laboratory is actively engaged in APT characterization of geological standards, development of new geological APT applications, and sharing APT expertise to address relevant geologic problems.
This research is funded by the United States National Science Foundation (EAR-1402912) and a RGC grant (UA) granted to Alberto Perez-Huerta, and utilizes resources owned and maintained by the Central Analytical Facility, which is supported by The University of Alabama.
