Daniel Martin receives the student Gulf Coast Association Research Award

Daniel Martin (Ph.D student in Coastal Hydrology) won the graduate student award of the Gulf Coast Association of Geological Societies (GCAGS) for year 2015/2016. This award is given to “worthy college and university geosciences students pursuing research in the Gulf Coast region” who are working on variety of topics including, geology, geophysics, energy and mineral resources, geohydrology, environmental geology, and paleontology. Daniel received $2,000 to offset his research expenses and an invited talk (with paid expenses) at the next GCAGS meeting to present his research.
