The Wallace C. Johnson Geological Sciences Endowed Support Fund was established to provide support to promising DGS students enrolled full-time.
Uses for support are limited to field- and research-related travel expenses (such as field courses, conference travel, fieldwork, etc.), associated with activities supervised by Department of Geological Sciences faculty. The Johnson Fund is not intended to fund travel that Department of Geological Sciences faculty supervisors could support using other resources.
Applications are accepted during Spring Semester for student seeking funding for Field Course (GEO 495). Applications to fund other field research or education can be made year round. To apply or to learn more, email Dr. Harold Stowell (firstname.lastname@example.org).
