Recent M.S. graduate Greg Brenn (soon joining Geoscience Australia) and his adviser, Samantha Hansen, recently published his thesis research in Geology, their research is featured on the cover. This publication stems from several years of fieldwork in Antarctica funded by Dr. Hansen’s NSF CAREER grant. The paper describes thermal loading and uplift of the Transantarctic Mountains based on P- and S-wave tomography.
