Greg Gushurst (MS student) receives ExxonMobil Fellowship

Greg Gushurst, MS student who works with Dr. Mahatsente, was recently accepted into a geophysics short course at ExxonMobil’s Houston campus in Texas. This opportunity was made available after he was selected from a previous ExxonMobil short course he attended in Georgia where he was tasked with evaluating the hydrocarbon potential of a reservoir. This next short course, taking place in February of 2018, he will be looking into seismic acquisition and processing, rock physics, and seismic interpretation. From this short course, he hopes to land an internship or employment at ExxonMobil after he completes his Master’s degree.
