Current Research Projects
I am currently funded by the National Science Foundation through a CAREER grant (EAR1553878) to explore the effects of volcanic lightning on both natural and manufactured volcanic ash samples through a series of lightning experiments. My research group conducts various studies on explosive eruptions and their interaction with the atmosphere, including ice nucleation and triboelectrification.
