The American Geosciences Institute presented Ernie Mancini the Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal at the recent AAPG meeting in Calgary Canada. This award honors geologists who have made lasting accomplishments to the field with historic value. At the same meeting, Rick Groshong was presented with both the Petroleum Structure and Geomechanics Division Best Seminal Paper Award and the SEG/AAPG Best Paper in Interpretation Journal Award.
