Research Interests
My focus has primarily been in Structural Geology and Tectonics, with a strong element of Igneous & Metamorphic Petrology. My master thesis, titled, “Structural and metamorphic implications of the final emplacement of the Lyngen Nappe”, dealt with mapping and documenting shear sense indicators at the boundary of two nappes of the Northern Norwegian Caledonides, as well as some petrological modelling of its metamorphic conditions. Other areas of (more amateur) interest include planetary geology, volcanology, and almost anything else hard-rock related!
