Research Interests:

My research interests lie in the field of geophysics, with a particular focus on studying the dynamics and structure of the Earth’s interior. I am fascinated by the interactions between the mantle and the lithosphere, and the processes that shape our planet’s surface and subsurface. My previous research has involved utilizing advanced seismic imaging techniques, such as teleseismic tomography and receiver function analysis, to better understand the mantle transition zone and its role in mantle upwelling and lithospheric evolution.

I am also intrigued by the presence of slow anomalies and their potential connection to large-scale geological features, such as the Damara Belt in southern Africa. Exploring the link between these anomalies and the African Large Low Velocity Province near the core-mantle boundary can provide valuable insights into the geodynamic processes at play and enhance our understanding of mantle dynamics.
